The Okavango Delta forms the world’s largest oasis as the fresh waters from the Angola highlands spill across the Kalahari Desert. This vast Eden is home to Africa’s diverse animal populations.
Day 2: Duncan’s Camp
This morning we are taken on a guided walk to experience the smells, sights snd sounds of the wilderness. Leisure time to relax before lunch, hereafter our game drive into the concession area with sundowners while watching the majestic African sunset. Duncan’s Camp (or similar) (All meals)
Day 3: Third Bridge Tented Camp, Xakanaxa area of Moremi
Today we take a leisure drive into Moremi Game Reserve and onto our next comfort camp. The variety of bird species here will keep us enthralled. Late afternoon we have the opportunity to explore the area on a sundowner game drive. Third Bridge Tented Camp (All meals)
Day 4: Third Bridge Tented Camp, Xakanaxa area of Moremi
Our morning and afternoon game drives explore the area with its combination of open grasslands, woodland thicket and lagoons which create special habitat for Cheetah, Wild Dog and Honey Badger. Third Bridge Tented Camp (All meals).
Day 5: Gcadikwe Island, Okavango Delta
After breakfast our guide transfers us to Xakanaxa boat station having the opportunity to view the wildlife enroute. A boat excursion takes us into the Okavango channels and lagoon areas to our tented camp on an Island in the heart of the Delta. Here we have the chance of seeing hippos, crocodiles and the birdlife endemic to the area. Gcadikwe Island Tented Camp (All meals).
Day 6: Gcadikwe Island, Okavango Delta
We further explore the channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta by boat with a visit to the Heronry (a natural nursery). After relaxing during the heat of the day we are taken on a sunset cruise to photograph the spectacular Delta sunset. Gcadikwe Island Tented Camp (All meals).
Day 7: Hyena Pan Bush Camp, Khwai concession area
A hearty breakfast before we are boated back to the boat station where a leisure game drive transfers us to our next comfort tented camp. Lunch is served picnic style enroute. Our camp is in a private concession adjoining Moremi Game Reserve. There are no fences between the Park and the private concession making our night drive even more fantastic. Day 8: Hyena Pan Bush Camp, Khwai concession area
Today our guide takes us exploring the Khwai floodplains and the serenity of the surrounding wilderness is overpowering. (Optional activity at own expense – 2 hour Mokoro excursion) Hyena Pan Camp (All meals)
Day 9: Chobe National Park
Our guide transfers us to the Khwai airstrip where we meet our air transfer to Kasane airport. A lodge representative road transfers us to our luxury lodge near the Chobe River. The afternoon is spent at leisure either enjoying bird watching from our deck or enjoying a nature walk on the lodge premises. We could also join one of the local guide for an educational stroll through the nearby village and learn a little about their customs and traditions. Day 10: Chobe National Park
Today we are taken into Chobe National Park for a morning game drive which offers the best chance to encounter the big cats and unique experiences of Chobe. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. It is also home to the largest elephant population in Africa which we may witness during our afternoon boat cruise on the River. Day 11: Victoria Falls
Mid-morning we are transferred out of Chobe area of Botswana and cross the border to our lodge accommodation in Zimbabwe. Time at leisure to enjoy the many optional activities on offer. (Own expense). Ilala Lodge (or similar accommodation) (Breakfast & dinner) Lunch on day 11 own expense.
Day 12: Victoria Falls
The safari ends after Breakfast. (Breakfast)

Tents and Equipment:
1. 2 person spacious dome tent (L3m x W3m x H2.20m) with built in groundsheet, 2 large aerating windows with mosquito netting.
2. 2 camp beds with high density foam mattress, bed linen and pillow.
3. “Alfresco” en-suite bathroom (2m x 3m) with warm bucket shower, bath towel, hand towel, hand
basin and porta-potti toilet.
4. A large canvas canopy (5m x 5m) is used as a dining area.
Food and Drinks:
1. 3 wholesome meals each day.
2. Tea and coffee available in camp.
3. Mineral water is provided.
Not included: Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, these can be purchased at the start of the safari or pre-ordered
